About this notice
Digital Vision is the public name of an independently managed art project based in Italy. For questions about personal data, contact contact@digital-vision.art.
Information we process
The public website displays artworks and links to external platforms. It currently has no contact forms, advertising trackers, visitor analytics scripts or embedded third-party media. Website requests may involve IP addresses, timestamps, browser information and requested URLs, processed through our hosting service for delivery and security.
If you email Digital Vision, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information. The private administrator area processes account and session information for secure access and site management. Passwords are stored as hashes.
Purposes and legal bases
Website delivery, security and administrator authentication are carried out for the legitimate interests of operating and protecting the website, subject to the rights and interests of the people concerned. General enquiries are handled for the legitimate interest of responding to communications. Requests for a commission and the work agreed with you are processed to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform that contract. Where a specific legal obligation requires processing, that obligation is the legal basis. We do not use this website for marketing mailing lists.
Providers and external services
The website is hosted through Hostinger. Hosting and email providers may process technical data and communications to deliver their services. Data may also need to be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Digital Vision does not sell personal information.
Patreon, Fourthwall and social platforms are separate services with their own privacy notices. Following a link takes you to that service. This notice describes processing on digital-vision.art and direct enquiries; it does not replace the notices applicable to a purchase, membership or data received through those platforms.
Provider arrangements, retention settings and any processing outside the European Economic Area are subject to verification. Information about relevant providers and transfer safeguards can be requested using the email above.
Retention
Correspondence relating to a commission is normally deleted once the work is completed. Messages and records needed for legal obligations, payment documentation or a dispute may be retained for those purposes for the applicable period. Other enquiry correspondence is retained while needed to address the enquiry and any follow-up.
Technical logs and backup copies follow the hosting and email services' retention and security settings. Deleting a message from the active mailbox may not immediately remove it from provider backups. The specific provider retention periods have not yet been confirmed.
Your rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. If processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests to contact@digital-vision.art. We normally respond within one month, explaining any extension permitted by law. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent supervisory authority.
Cookies
The public pages do not currently set application cookies or track visitors. The private /admin/ area uses the essential first-party session cookie dv_admin for authentication and request protection. It uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict settings. The cookie is configured as a session cookie; administrator authentication expires after one hour of inactivity. See the Cookie Policy.
